The Microwave links are very important in the transmission network. Therefore, Vital performs a major task in the microwave side. The operations carried out by the technical teams include setting up new links for the planned sites and connecting them to the existing network under the supervision of our customers. New links are added to the existing sites to increase capacity. Vital organize and implement hardware installation and prepare relevant engineering documents. Swapping of BTS Cell Sites
Vital has abilities to plan before network swapping, make preparations and set down plans. Swapping of BTS sites is required to maintain the performance of the network coverage. The prerequisite for network swapping is that the BTS cell site’s coverage quality should be higher than that of the original network. Network coverage includes the BTS characteristics, site type configuration, combiner performance, and combination mode. Vital helps to compare the BTS coverage capability before and after swapping. Collect the information about the BTS type, BTS configuration, combination mode, BTS location, antenna system, radio networking parameters, and performance counters. The acceptance after network swapping consists of the DT test, traffic statistics analysis, alarm analysis, and user complaint analysis. We compare the results of the tests performed before and after swapping to know the changes in network quality. Battery Bank Installation and In-Building Coverage Solutions
Battery Bank Upgrading technical team follows a standard procedure. First, they are doing battery testing and monitoring the dropping voltage value up to a specific level. Then replace the existing battery bank with a new one. Old batteries will be retested at our labs and will issue performance status (i.e. whether those can be re-used or not).
IBS is required in places where indoor coverage requirement is critical and the possibility of providing coverage from outdoor sites is not practicable.
